Gin Cocktails
Inspired by Nepal’s favourite flavours of plum, apple, tea and spice, ‘Better than the (Ever)rest’ brings out the caraway and ginger tones found in Wildfire’s Ascent gin.

Ingredients
1. To a short bar glass filled with ice add gin, spiced plum syrup, and apple juice.
2. Give this a stir before topping the glass with soda water and a slice of apple.
*For the spiced plum syrup:
- Combine 250grams fresh dark plums (or use canned), 75grams sugar of your choice, 100mls of brewed black tea, one cinnamon stick, 1tsp of vanilla then simmer in a pan till the plums break down.
- Strain through a fine sieve and cool before using.
- As an optional extra, add in a little dried red chilli for a kick.
