Entry #04 - A year of sparks 🔥

Hi explorers,

As the year winds down, we wanted to pause for a moment and say a genuine thank you.

A year ago, Wildfire was an idea. A spark. A scribble in a notebook and a lot of “what if?” conversations. This year, it became something real because people like you chose to try it, share it, and come back to it.

Here’s a glimpse of what you helped make happen:

• ⏱️ We released our first gins — Madge Wildfire and Merchant’s Flame — and started to learn who they truly belonged to
  

• 🍸 Madge found a home with bartenders, mixologists and judges, earning finalist nods at the Scottish Gin Awards
  

• 🔥 Merchant’s Flame became the favourite for slower nights at home, winter pours and festive tables (with finalist recognition of its own…)
  

• 🏆 Our collaboration with Cromlix Hotel went one step further, winning Best New Product of the Year at the Scottish Gin Awards
  

• 🤝 We packed up bottles and tasting cups and headed out to events and Christmas markets, meeting Wildfire drinkers face to face (always the best part!)
  

• 📦 We sold out, restocked, and watched Wildfire travel from the Highlands to Bristol and plenty of places in between
  

• 🍻 And we saw Wildfire poured in a pub for the first time, which still still feels pretty special
  

Behind all of this is a small (and growing) group of people; distillers, designers, photographers, experts, novices, packers, partners, friends  and more, all quietly putting care into every bottle. But none of it works without the people on the other side of the pour.

That’s you.

So a huge thank you, from all of us, to all of you. Thank you for backing a young brand, for supporting small-batch craft gin, and for helping turn a small spark into something that feels very alive.

We’ve got more ideas brewing, more experiments planned, and plenty more stories ahead. But for now, we’ll just say this:

We’re really glad you’re here.
