He's a Scottish macro photographer who spends hours crouched in wet grass and rainforest floors for one shot: a beetle's shell catching the light, a damselfly's wing, colour most people walk straight past. That search has taken him from Ruchill Park in Glasgow to Kew Gardens, Lake Como, Malaysia, Abu Dhabi, and most recently the forests of Ecuador.
